With modern laboratories and new generation equipment, Metalac is capable of performing various test types, analysis and fastening studies.

You will find below a list of the services provided by Metalac:

• Vibration test to evaluate the efficiency of chemical, mechanical treatments, etc. (Jünkers Machine)
• Test on TTM (Torque and Tension Machine), which provide friction coefficients on the thread and under the head and tightening inducted load data.
• Fatigue test on bolted joints or on individual bolts for lifetime analysis.
• Failure analysis of bolted joints (cause for loosening or breakage of fasteners).
• Tightening window behaviour analysis and its dimensioning for torque or torque x angle.
• Dimensioning of bolted joints with definition of recommended tightening window and property class for the related bolt, if necessary.
• Rationalization of assembled joints with the intention of items communization, in order to reduce the amount of items in the same application, reducing the complexity and the cost.
